Delta Alpha Theta

The name Delta Alpha Theta was chosen with care and intention. Each letter carries meaning that reflects the values at the heart of the sisterhood. Within the community, Delta Alpha Theta is affectionately referred to as DAT.

Delta (Δ): Change and Becoming
Delta represents transformation, growth, and evolution. In mathematics and science, delta signifies change. In nature, a delta is fertile ground where life gathers and expands. For DAT, delta reflects sisterhood as a catalyst for both personal and collective becoming. Growth is not linear, but it is ongoing.

Alpha (Α): Leadership and Origin
Alpha is the beginning, the first, the initiator. It symbolizes leadership rooted in responsibility rather than dominance. Within DAT, members are called to lead with integrity, courage, and accountability, both within the sisterhood and beyond it.

Theta (Θ): Wisdom and Inner Knowing
